Original Medronho

Júnior Jacques presents the original essence of Southwest Alentejo. Following a multi-generational tradition, we have crafted this Medronho into an exquisite spirit: smooth, with a distinct fruit flavour from berries hand-picked at peak ripeness. Its high alcohol content attests to the purity of the distillation. Made exclusively from strawberry tree fruit, it has body, a nice touch of acidity, and a pronounced finish. A high-end spirit to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Medronho Melosa

Crafted exclusively from medronho and premium rosemary honey. Elegant and perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter, it features aromas of silky honey, fresh rosemary, and vibrant Portuguese lemon—and of course, the distinctive presence of the medronho we distill with passion!

Aged Medronho

Júnior Jacques presents the essence of Southwest Portugal. Made from ripe autumn fruit, hand-distilled in a small copper still in 2020 and aged for three months in oak barrels, this Aged Medronho is a sublime ode to tradition. Its high proof attests to the purity of the distillate, made exclusively from strawberry tree fruit, with complex aromas of dried fruit, wood, and spices. The palate is delicate, smooth, and surprisingly fruity, merging medronho with exotic notes. The finish is long, with persistent oak and spice. This premium spirit can be enjoyed neat or on ice.
